Fishing
Our fishing camp is located on the headwaters of the Yellowstone River. We are only one hour horseback from the Thorofare River. Fishing on these two rivers is for native Yellowstone Cutthroat trout ranging from 2 to 4 pounds and considered by many to be the best in the United States.

Fishing Equipment:

• One 4-6 weight fly rod or light action pole
• Two reels with extra spools and line
• Leaders on fly lines from 2 to 5 lb. test
• Good quality 6 lb. line on spinning outfits
• Plenty of lures and flys
• All rods should be in compact hard cases

Photography and Sightseeing
Photography and scenic trips are moving trips into the beautiful high mountain country where the scenery is breathtaking. There are abundant fields of wildflowers, lush alpine meadows, and lodgepole pine forests. This wilderness area offers you excellent opportunities to see a variety of wildlife in their natural habitat, including Grizzly Bears, Elk, Sheep, Deer, Moose and possibly Wolves. You will enjoy the solitude and tranquil environment of the pristine wilderness.

We maintain a clean and comfortable wilderness camp. All of our equipment and horses are in excellent shape. We supply good mountain-wise horses that can accommodate even the most novice riders.

Hearty meals are served by the campfire with a great variety and plenty to eat. If there are any special health or diet restrictions, please let us know in advance so the necessary arrangements can be made.

Suggested Personal Gear:

• Riding boots and comfortable shoes
• 1-2 change of clothes,socks,and underwear
• Warm jacket,hat,gloves, and rain gear
• Personal items and medications,suntan lotion,sunglasses,chapstick,flashlight,insect repellent,canteen
• Camera and plenty of film
• Warm sleeping bag
• OPTIONAL: Binoculars,knife,personal chaps,saddle bags,and liquor if you so desire
